Job Description

Project Manager:
Residential & Commercial Construction Company History Crockett Construction Inc. was founded by Ron Crockett and his family in 1994. The goal was to build a professional construction company with ideals: service, craftsmanship, integrity, and quality. We are proud of our family's name, and have an equal amount of pride in the company that has our name on the door and more importantly, in the work we do in every project. After graduating from college in 1991, son Todd began to work alongside Ron on several of the construction projects, and in 1994, Crockett Construction Inc. was incorporated. To this very day, both Ron and Todd Crockett are deeply involved and committed to a hands-on approach to running the business. What We Are Looking For We are excited to announce we are looking to fill the role for a Project Manager. We are looking for someone who has strong self-motivation that is eager to make a impact and take challenges head on. We are a tight knit organization with a family oriented culture. Requirements 3-6 years of Project Management experience in Construction (preferably remodeling) Demonstrated experience managing budgets with a track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery Experience overseeing subcontractors and field crews Proficiency in project management software (JobTread a plus) Reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and drawings Experience with permitting and inspection processes Leadership and team management Stakeholder and client communication Negotiation and conflict resolution Problem-solving under pressure Strong organizational skills Not Required, but a plus: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification Lean Construction background (Lean Six Sigma) Hours The project manager's starting time is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. with ½ hour for lunch, and normal closing at 3:30 p.m. The project manager will assist throughout the entire production process of a particular job and may be required periodically to work outside of the normal 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday timeframe. Pay Period Pay is salary. The pay period is bi-weekly.
Purpose:
The purpose of the project manager is to oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning and budgeting to execution and completion ensuring the project stays on schedule within budget and meets quality standards. The primary responsibility of the project manager is to manage the project life cycle effectively, including planning, coordinating resources, and communicating with all necessary stakeholders. Position Responsibilities Deliver high-quality residential and commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on luxury remodels Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, consistent, and proactive communication on schedule, progress, and next steps Demonstrate highly effective communication across all teams, including clients, sales, design, field staff, and trade partners Request and evaluate bids, negotiate scopes and pricing Coordinate and schedule subcontractors across all trades Maintain strong coordination between all parties to ensure alignment and project success Enforce strict quality control standards to meet or exceed expectations of luxury remodel clients Coordinate pre-construction activities including permitting and site preparation Manage project budgets, schedules, materials, and subcontractors with accountability and attention to detail Anticipate challenges and communicate solutions quickly and effectively Lead projects with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused mindset Review and approve invoices and change orders Manage the day-to-day scheduling and direction of field personnel Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies on the job site Ensure a seamless, high-end client experience from project start through completion Software Used Regularly JobTread (Project Management Software) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Company Benefits At Crockett Construction we appreciate the hard work our employees put in, day in and day out.
