• Metal Buildings Associate Construction Project Manager Leander Construction, a Central Illinois general contractor, is seeking a motivated Associate Construction Project Manager to support our project teams and grow into a full project management role.

This position is ideal for someone beginning their construction management career who is eager to learn, contribute, and develop leadership skills in a hands-on environment. Qualifications Entry-level to 2 years of construction or related experience Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred Strong desire to learn project management processes Key Responsibilities Assist project managers with budgeting, scheduling, and documentation Support subcontractor and supplier coordination Track submittals and shop drawings Help maintain project records and reporting Communicate with field staff and project stakeholders Learn contract administration and change management procedures Skills & Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-first mindset Growth Opportunity This role is designed to provide mentorship, hands-on training, and exposure to all phases of commercial construction project management, preparing you for advancement within the company.
