//youtu.be/XYNIFpLQIJY The Project Manager will manage key accounts and lead project management at any point in time from concept approval through launch.
Key Responsibility:
Own end‑to‑end project management for the customer portfolio, including new product development (NPD), formula changes, packaging updates, line extensions, tech transfers, and changes to existing commercial items. Serve as the primary internal lead coordinating cross‑functional teams (Sales, R D, Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Master Data) to ensure projects progress according to agreed timelines and scope. Manage project initiation through launch by defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities, while ensuring alignment to customer requirements and internal capabilities. Proactively identify risks, gaps, and execution challenges, escalating issues as needed to protect customer commitments and launch timelines. Maintain accurate project documentation, change control, and system updates to ensure visibility and accountability throughout the project lifecycle Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring customer requirements, priorities, and risks are clearly understood and considered in execution decisions. Serve as the voice of the company externally, aligning customers to internal processes, capabilities, lead times, and constraints while maintaining a solutions‑oriented approach. Balance customer expectations with operational realities, proactively managing scope changes, timing impacts, and tradeoffs to enable successful outcomes for both parties. Support Sales by enabling strong customer experiences that reinforce PLZ's position as a reliable, execution‑focused manufacturing partner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience Minimum 3 years' experience in a consumer products customer service-related role, personal care products and or contract manufacturing strongly desired SAP is strongly desired. Effectively able to communicate at all levels of management internally /externally Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills Promote cooperation by projecting a positive attitude
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
