Responsible for helping FMIG achieve annual profit goals, develop plans for increased process improvements and efficiencies, develop existing and new insurance distribution channels (including digital). Develops, leads cross-functional and cross-departmental teams and implements best practices in systems, IT, policies, procedures, service standards, regulatory and compliance matters, and ensures staff maintain standards of excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads all projects for administration and other operational teams; delegates operational and client-facing duties as needed. Reports to CEO or designee and coordinates activities with members of the senior leadership, sales, marketing, claims, loss, operational, production, and administrative/support areas. Leads key projects including but not limited to, CRM integration, acquisitions integrations, talent acquisitions and onboarding, UX and CX initiatives including customer satisfaction and retention initiatives. Responsible for all systems, IT and operations processes including policies, procedures and enhancements. Responsible for continual efficiency improvement and operational development including staff and staff training as needed to insure profit optimization. Collaborates with heads of other division and department leadership and other senior leadership at First Mid. Manages digital distribution strategies and teams as assigned. Acts as primary liaison with internal First Mid marketing department and leads advertising, marketing, and promotional activities for FMIG as assigned. Supervises and manages various other operations functions and teams. Provides direction to team members engaged in production and leadership to other administrative personnel in various divisions. Shares responsibility with division heads for all lines' account profitability, retention rates, and organic growth. Serves in a senior management role and may be responsible for other management responsibilities including personnel decisions, budgeting, P&L responsibility, decisions with regards to talent recruitment/termination, strategic planning, employee engagement initiatives and other high-level management projects and initiatives. Serves in various other capacities as assigned. Represents FMIG and the holding co. and provides leadership in key community activities and committees.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; specialized training in risk management and underwriting preferred. Minimum of 10 years risk management experience with project management and systems integrations and efficiencies.Skills:
Thorough knowledge of Company's products and services and related charges. High level of interpersonal skills to interact with customers and potential customers in a professional manner. High level of analytical skills involved with claims and risk analysis and understand changes in market trends, economic conditions and other factors affecting insurance pricing.
