$100,000 per annum + annual bonus / Health insurance & 2 weeks PTO Position Summary Gooder-Henrichsen Co. a premier manufacturer of steel joist and deck products, is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to oversee the project lifecycle from post-sale through final delivery. This role serves as the central hub for internal project management, ensuring that production schedules, stakeholder requirements, and customer expectations are aligned and accounted for.
Core Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence:
Respond to client inquiries and email correspondence with professional urgency, providing project updates and resolving concerns.
Post-Sale Project Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients immediately following the sales handoff, maintaining continuity through the delivery phase.
Schedule Coordination:
Develop and manage comprehensive job schedules to ensure production milestones meet contractual deadlines.
Stakeholder Liaison:
Facilitate consistent communication between internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure logistical accuracy across multiple projects.
Workflow Monitoring:
Track the progress of several jobs simultaneously, identifying and mitigating potential delays within the manufacturing and delivery pipeline.
Fill-in:
Helping other departments with priority tasks, on an as needed basis.
Qualifications Experience:
Experience in project coordination, logistics, account management, or other relevant experience. Structural steel or steel joist experience is required. College degree is not required with professional experience. Requirements Ability to manage complex schedules, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving attitude, and a focus on professional email etiquette and client relations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage the competing priorities of multiple industrial projects.
Work Environment & Schedule Location:
This is a 100% on-site position at our Chicago Heights, IL facility.
Hours:
Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay:
$100,000.00 per year
