Job Description

Job Description Our client is undergoing a major HR transformation, migrating from a legacy PeopleSoft application to Workday. The project has been in motion for a year and involves over 100 integration partners and 300 individual integrations. Some external partners are pushing back, and the internal team is relatively new to Workday. This role requires a seasoned Workday expert to help drive the implementation forward, particularly across technical workstreams. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  •  Lead technical workstream activities focused on data conversion and integrations
  •  Maintain and manage trackers to monitor project progress and timelines
  •  Coordinate integration efforts with internal and external partners
  •  Identify project vulnerabilities and ensure visibility across stakeholders
  •  Ensure access to tools and documentation for all involved parties

  •  7+ years of experience as a project manager - must have worked on data integration projects with Workday
  •  Hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in Core HCM, Recruiting, and Employee Data modules
  •  Proven experience managing data integration and conversion efforts
  •  Prior experience leading a migration from a legacy payroll application to Workday
  •  Strong project management skills with ability to track progress and manage multiple stakeholders
  •  Must be based in Chicago and available for onsite meetings as needed Plusses
  •  Experience navigating resistance from external integration partners
  •  Familiarity with large-scale enterprise HR transformations
  •  Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks in complex implementations
