Illinois , Edwardsville Job Description gpac is partnered with a Mechanical Contractor that is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to their team. The ideal Project Manager is someone with extensive HVAC piping experience.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Project Executive to set-up contracts/P.O.'s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, project schedule Coordinate with the Estimator on the project budget, project scope, potential problems such as critical items and/or special hazards Confirm all quantities with Estimator Review returned subcontracts before signing Thorough review with the field superintendent of the plans and specifications for layout/dimensions and critical items, subcontractor/supplier list and their scopes of work, delivery and submittal items and timing, project schedule, project budget, testing/inspection reports/results, permits, daily log and travel policy, meeting agendas, project delays, change order work, etc.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager Qualifications:

5 + years of experience as a Project Manager in Mechanical Construction (HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing is a plus) is required. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or proven experience in the Mechanical industry is required. Strong knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. Familiarity with construction management software packages (Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, BlueBeam, P6 is preferred, Viewpoint is preferred, and Autodesk is a plus) - overall strong computer skills.
