Job Description

About Aegis Solutions Group We're a fast-growing technology integration company that builds smart, secure, and connected environments. We move quickly, we solve real problems, and we're building something that matters. This company was founded on creativity, accountability, honesty, transparency, and kindness. Those aren't just words on a wall… they're how we operate. We work hard, we think critically, and we actually enjoy what we do. If you want a place where showing up with energy and ideas actually matters, where growth is earned through performance, and where your work has real impact, then keep reading. What This Role Is This is a project management role on the installation side of the business, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will own projects from handoff through completion. Site walks, scheduling, status tracking, client coordination, field team direction. The work is real and the accountability is yours. If you know low-voltage and physical security, you will hit the ground running. If you know how to manage people without being difficult about it, you will fit in here. What You Will Do In your first 90 days: Walk active project sites, assess status, and get accurate updates into our systems Manage project scheduling and keep field work moving without bottlenecks Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients on timelines and deliverables Walk potential client sites with sales or leadership and produce clear scope assessments Identify what is broken in how we currently track and manage projects, and bring recommendations As you grow into the role: Own project KPIs and drive measurable improvement across the installation division Develop reporting that gives leadership a clear picture of project health at any given time Build habits and standards that trickle down to field technicians and raise the floor on execution Become the person leadership trusts to run the operational side of the installation business What We Are Looking For Who you are: You think independently. You can walk a job site, size up a situation, and figure out what needs to happen without someone explaining it to you. You push projects forward without being a problem. You know how to create urgency without creating conflict. You own your work. When something is off, you say so. When something needs fixing, you fix it or flag it. You do not wait to be asked. You have enterprise-level skills and the discipline to apply them in a small business environment where things move fast and structures are still being built. You can work through ambiguity. When a process does not exist yet, you build one instead of waiting for someone to hand it to you.
What you know:
Low-voltage systems and physical security, specifically. You need to know this space. General PM experience without field knowledge will not be enough here. Project management tools and reporting. You pick up new systems fast and do not need handholding to get up to speed. How to read a job site and translate what you see into an accurate project assessment.
How to manage field technicians:
communicate clearly, set expectations, and hold the line without losing people.
What will not work here:
You need a fully defined playbook before you can operate. This role requires someone who can build the process, not just follow it. You manage up instead of managing the work. We need someone focused on execution, not optics. You treat anything outside your title as someone else's problem. You have done PM work in name only. We need someone who has actually driven projects, not just tracked them. Why This Role, Why Now We are at a point in our growth where the installation side needs dedicated ownership. Right now, project management responsibilities are spread across leadership and field leads. That works until it does not. This person will build the function from the inside. Better reporting, cleaner scheduling, tighter execution. The KPI improvements that come from this role will be visible and measurable. So will the person who drives them. We are not perfect. We are building this as we go. But we are building it with intention, and the right person will find a place here where their performance actually means something.
Travel:
National travel as required. Some weeks none, some weeks you're on a plane. The work drives the schedule, not the other way around.
Pay:
$68,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Paid time off
Work Location:
In person
