Project Controls Coordinator

Project Controls Coordinator Precision Piping & Fabrication - Mount Carroll, IL Precision Piping & Fabrication is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Controls Coordinator to support our project operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate project financial records and documentation within our project management system. The position works closely with Project Managers, Operations, and our accounting team to ensure project costs, invoices, receipts, and financial documentation are properly recorded and organized. This is a systems-focused operations role that helps ensure our projects remain financially organized and our leadership team has reliable project cost visibility. What You'll Do The Project Controls Coordinator helps maintain the accuracy and organization of our project management system.

Responsibilities include:

Enter vendor invoices and project expenses into the project management system Upload and organize project receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation Assign costs to the correct project and cost categories Maintain organized digital project files and documentation Monitor projects for missing financial documentation Follow up with project managers regarding missing invoices or receipts Coordinate project financial documentation with our accounting team Maintain accuracy and organization within our project management platform What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with software systems and digital documentation.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow structured processes Strong computer and data management skills Comfortable working in software systems and digital platforms Clear and professional communication skills High level of personal accountability Experience with project management or CRM platforms such as JobTread, Buildertrend, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems is helpful but not required.
