Competitive Compensation based on experience KGO is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Owner Representative to support multiple capital improvement and facility modernization projects for a major energy client across Illinois. This role will oversee projects from planning through closeout while acting as the Owner's advocate throughout design, procurement, construction administration, commissioning, and project delivery activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive construction leader with strong experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, or energy-sector projects in active operational environments. ????

Representative Projects Include:

• HVAC Infrastructure Upgrades
• Switchgear Replacement Projects
• Rooftop Unit (RTU) Replacement Programs
• Facility Renovations & Infrastructure Improvements

Nuclear Warehouse Support Projects Key Responsibilities:

? Serve as Owner Representative and primary project point of contact ? Manage all phases of design and construction projects ? Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants ? Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, RFIs, change orders, and project financials ? Support construction administration, inspections, commissioning, and project closeout ? Monitor contractor performance, project compliance, and construction sequencing ? Support off-hours/weekend construction activities when required ? Provide recurring project reporting, cost tracking, and schedule updates

Required Qualifications:

• Active PMP Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 5-7+ years of progressive commercial/industrial construction project management experience
• 5+ years serving directly as an Owner Representative
• Strong knowledge of: Construction methodologies MEP systems Design management Budgeting & forecasting Change management Construction administration Experience managing projects in occupied or operational facilities Proficiency with: MS Office Suite Procore Bluebeam Autodesk Construction Cloud AutoCAD /

Revit Adobe Acrobat Professional Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site as needed
• Willingness to support off-hours/weekend construction activities
• Ability to travel periodically between Illinois project sites
