Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support large-scale engineering and construction projects across the power, energy, industrial, and infrastructure markets. This position will work closely with project managers, construction teams, schedulers, cost engineers, and client stakeholders to help drive project performance through cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, and schedule analysis. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting complex EPC or heavy industrial projects who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Not Required. Responsibilities Support project teams with cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and earned value tracking activities. Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership and clients. Monitor project financial performance, including labor hours, progress curves, productivity, commitments, and change management. Assist with schedule reviews and progress tracking to ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables. Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and validate project information. Support monthly project reviews, cash flow forecasting, and executive reporting requirements. Maintain project controls systems, databases, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in project planning, forecasting, and risk management discussions. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, client requirements, and reporting standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, scheduling, or project management support within EPC, industrial, or construction environments. Experience supporting large capital projects in industries such as power generation, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, renewables, manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction preferred. Strong understanding of project controls principles including cost forecasting, earned value management, change management, and project reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project controls software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, EcoSys, SAP, Power BI, or similar tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
