Job Description:
Senior Project Manager - Light Industrial Construction ???? Chicagoland Area We're working with a well-established, mid-sized GC that's been a consistent player in the market for nearly 20 years. They just wrapped their strongest year yet (~$340M in volume) and continue to see steady growth, largely driven by their light industrial portfolio. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role with a company that has a strong pipeline, repeat clients, and a clear niche in the industrial space.

Light industrial is their core focus (distribution centers, warehouses, spec builds, BTS) Strong pipeline of active and upcoming work, including: 720k SF spec project in Huntley (Venture One) Multiple projects underway in Indianapolis (HSA) New spec build in the northwest suburbs Additional build-to-suit projects in preconstruction Mix of ground-up, tenant improvements, and repeat client work Stable growth with consistent yearly volume ($250M-$300M historically, $340M this past year) Tight-knit, team-oriented culture with long-term employees What they're looking for: 8-12+ years of experience in construction project management Strong background in light industrial / warehouse / distribution projects Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout Comfortable leading teams, working directly with clients, and driving schedules/budgets Ability to handle both ground-up and interior/tenant improvement work
