What You'll Do We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support day‑to‑day execution of manufacturing prototype projects, referred to internally as Work Orders. This role will work closely with Program Managers to coordinate activities required to successfully build project prototypes on the production floor. The Project Coordinator will serve as a central point of coordination between Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, Planning, and Production teams—ensuring work orders move efficiently from release through build completion. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on exposure to manufacturing environments, factory assemblies, or project execution in an operations setting. Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned) Coordinate day‑to‑day activities for prototype Work Orders supporting multiple active programs Partner with Program Managers to track project milestones, priorities, and execution status Act as a liaison between: Sourcing / Purchasing teams procuring parts Manufacturing Engineers preparing builds and floor layouts Planners coordinating schedules and production resources Production teams executing prototype assemblies Ensure work orders are released, material available, and builds are scheduled appropriately Track and maintain work order status, issues, risks, and dependencies Assist in resolving execution roadblocks by coordinating across functional teams Support continuous improvement of work order processes and documentation Prepare and communicate regular status updates to Program Managers and stakeholders Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and build records What You Will Need College Degree in Technical Background Preferred. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, project coordination, or production support Working knowledge of factory environments, assembly processes, or production workflows Experience supporting project execution or work orders in a fast‑paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects Effective communicator with the ability to work across engineering, supply chain, and production teams Comfortable working on the production floor as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred What Sets you apart Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience supporting prototype builds, NPI, or pre‑production projects Familiarity with manufacturing documentation such as BOMs, routings, and work instructions Prior experience supporting Program Managers or Project Managers Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
