Specialty Permit Coordinator As a Specialty Permit Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operating functions of the specialty permitting team are met. In this role the coordinator will ensure that everything required by the entity is packaged and submitted correctly, by coordinating work with the field, CAD, contractors, and entity agents. They will thoroughly understand all relevant timelines for their entity to ensure fields intended date of construction is successful.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Review, track, and respond to communications via email and teams communications daily Develop daily tasks list in accordance with DOT or Field teams priorities to ensure priority for plan development Review Entity portal for changes that will cause issues to daily process Document notes and changes on smart sheets and PEGA for the build teams to follow appropriate permits Perform quality control on field submitted plans and ensure accuracy on CAD markup Identify proper documentation for specified locations from DOT, Railroads, DNR and Utilities to ensure compliant documentation is completed Stay up to date on utility manuals from DOT for assigned markets Interpret communication from Field/DOT/CAD and understand information on Plats and Maps accurately to translate into qualified permits Run meetings with market teams to communicate general updates to submitted documents and permits Create concise, comprehensive markup using pdf tools All other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
High school or GED required Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Nuance Knowledge of Bluebeam/Nuance specifically strongly preferred Willingness to work as a team and independently. Must be legally authorized to work in the
