Construction Project Manager -
Utilities Location:
Fort Wayne / Northeast Indiana Lead Critical Infrastructure Projects That Power Communities Are you a driven Project Manager ready to take ownership of high-impact utility construction projects? Join a team that delivers essential infrastructure—transmission, substations, and grid modernization—while prioritizing safety, innovation, and long-term career growth. What You'll Do Lead utility construction projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost success Act as the key point of contact for clients, field teams, and subcontractors Develop and manage project plans including budgets, schedules, forecasts, and documentation Monitor performance and drive proactive solutions to keep projects on track and profitable Oversee change orders, RFIs, and scope adjustments with attention to detail and accuracy Prepare estimates, proposals, and material takeoffs to support project and business growth Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure efficient, high-quality execution What You Bring 5+ years of experience managing construction projects Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and field operations Ability to lead multiple projects while staying organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills with both field and executive stakeholders Proven ability to lead field crews and coordinate subcontractors Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) Preferred Experience Utility construction (transmission, substations, or power infrastructure) Experience working on high-voltage or energized projects Experience in protection & control or grid modernization initiatives Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
