The Role We're seeking a talented, highly organized Senior Interior Designer to support the Owner + Principal Designer across all phases of luxury residential projects. This is a part-time position with real opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the firm continues to expand. This role is for someone who loves both the creative and operational sides of design — someone who can lead portions of projects, communicate confidently with clients and vendors, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves on installation day. What You'll Do Design Development Develop whole-home design concepts and client presentations Select furnishings, lighting, textiles, finishes, materials, and accessories Create furniture plans, elevations, renderings, and design documentation Assist with kitchen and bath design development Source products aligned with project budgets and design intent Technical Design Produce detailed drawings and design documents using Chief Architect Create floor plans, elevations, construction drawings, and renderings Maintain accuracy in specifications, dimensions, and project details Project Management Communicate with clients, contractors, trades, workrooms, and vendors Track project timelines, orders, and installation schedules Attend client meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs Take field measurements, photos, and notes as needed Installation & Studio Support Coordinate and support project installations Unpack, inspect, label, organize, and stage furnishings and accessories Style and accessorize spaces alongside the Principal Designer Assist with photoshoot preparation and breakdown Help maintain an organized, inspiring studio environment What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of professional residential interior design experience Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred Advanced proficiency in Chief Architect required Experience in whole-home residential design, kitchen and bath, space planning, furniture specification, and construction drawings Strong client communication and project management skills Proficiency in Google Workspace and Canva preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, leads with humility, communicates with confidence and professionalism, and remains calm and solution-focused under pressure.
