We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our project execution efforts, build and develop a project management team, and ensure the successful delivery of solar, BESS, EV Charging and other energy infastructure projects. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for renewable energy innovation. Master Electrician License Preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Project Leadership and Execution :
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning. Stay up-to-date on emerging renewable energy technologies and apply knowledge to integrate new solutions into projects. 2.
Team Development and Management :
Build and lead a high-performing project management team, providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring the team is aligned with the company's mission and values. 3.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements and expectations are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication and problem resolution. 4.
Process Improvement :
Develop and implement project management best practices, tools, and templates to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Monitor project performance metrics and recommend strategies for improvement. 5.
Travel and On-Site Supervision :
Travel to project sites as needed to oversee progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. 6.
Risk Management and Compliance :
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, renewable energy, or a related field.
Experience :
7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the energy sector (solar preferred). Proven experience managing large-scale energy projects from conception to completion.
Certifications :
PMP certification, or NABCEP certification preferred but not required.
Technical Skills :
Knowledge of solar energy systems, design, permitting, and construction processes. Familiarity with other renewable technologies (e.g., wind, battery storage) is a plus. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and tools.
Key Competencies:
Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to manage multiple stakeholders. High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging renewable energy technologies. Ability to travel as required (up to 30%).
