Job Description

Position Overview Frontier Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day operations across multiple construction projects. This role focuses on coordination, communication, and keeping projects moving forward on schedule and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed, documentation is accurate, and timelines are maintained. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and oversight Track project timelines, budgets, and progress across multiple jobs Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients regarding scheduling and updates Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices Monitor job costs and flag discrepancies or concerns Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and job site needs Pick up materials and supplies from local vendors and deliver to job sites as needed Support scheduling of crews, inspections, and subcontractors Maintain accurate records in project management software (JobTread, QuickBooks, etc.) Assist with project closeout, including final documentation and billing Qualifications Previous experience in construction, project coordination, or administrative support preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities Clear and professional communication skills Comfortable working with software systems (JobTread, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.) Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift and transport materials as needed What We're Looking For Someone who follows through and keeps things moving A team player who can communicate with both office staff and field crews Ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for direction Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes changing environment
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
