Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for our client's Manhattan office. Join a nationally recognized firm headquartered in Kansas City, leading civil construction, construction materials testing and special inspection services across the Topeka and Manhattan region. This role is ideal for a safety-minded, client-focused professional ready to own the full lifecycle of civil construction projects-from proposal to closeout. 80% in office, 20% in the field. Business is mainly university and energy based.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction materials testing and special inspection services.
- Own project lifecycle: proposals, estimating, safety, execution, and closeout.
- Interpret and review construction drawings for compliance with plans/specs.
- Coordinate and supervise field investigations, inspections, and reporting.
- Prepare and review proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Track project progress, budgets, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project teams (technical and non-technical).
- Identify future project opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Supervise and mentor field and junior staff.

- 0-8+ years of general construction, civil construction, or materials experience
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Project Management Professional ( PMP ) certification.
- ACI certification and/or experience with testing and inspection.
- Familiarity with building enclosures, steel structures, and reading construction plans.
