Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager oversees all aspects of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through completion, with a strong focus on mission-critical and data center work. This role leads estimating and bidding efforts, manages project schedules and budgets, and partners closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure safe, high-quality execution in the field. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinates internal teams and subcontractors, and drives standardization and continuous improvement across projects. Responsibilities + Lead project estimating efforts, including preparing accurate bids and written proposals. + Define and develop detailed project scopes that align with client requirements and project objectives. + Solicit, qualify, and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality performance. + Procure materials and negotiate subcontract agreements in a timely and cost-effective manner. + Prepare and manage project submittals as needed to support project approval and execution. + Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with labor and resource needs. + Monitor project costs, review invoices, and ensure adherence to established budgets and financial targets. + Hold regular meetings with the Project Superintendent to review progress, challenges, and priorities. + Perform site visits as needed to support quality control, safety compliance, and issue resolution. + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly. + Identify opportunities to improve and standardize internal processes and project delivery methods. + Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. + Support business development efforts by building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. + Assist with marketing and outreach activities as needed to promote the company's services and capabilities. + Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful project and organizational outcomes.
