Summary We are seeking an organized and experienced Residential Remodeling Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of our home renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities Client Communication:
Establish and maintain clear communication channels with clients throughout the project, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Collaborate with designers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors as needed.
Budget Management:
Create detailed change orders, track expenses, manage change orders payments, and ensure projects stay within budget.
Schedule Adherence:
Monitor progress against project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule.
Subcontractor Management:
Schedule, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
Material Procurement:
Source, order, and manage the delivery of materials and equipment.
Compliance and Permitting:
Obtain necessary permits, ensure adherence to building codes and regulations, and schedule inspections.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality, address deficiencies, and maintain project standards. Make sure jobsite is clean and organized.
Problem Solving:
Anticipate and proactively address challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop creative solutions.
Project Closeout:
Conduct final walkthroughs with clients, compile project documentation, and ensure a smooth project handover. Qualifications Minimum of [3] years of experience in residential construction project management is perferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred but not required. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes is preferred but not requried. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills is required. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Jobtread ETC.).
