How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Project Buyer, you will serve as the primary owner of project-related materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement in alignment with project requirements. The incumbent will evaluate supplier quality, support project delivery schedules, and manage material costs while collaborating closely with Project Management and Material Managers to achieve business objectives. This role is essential for maintaining accurate SAP data, supporting reliable revenue forecasting, and driving strong supplier performance to meet project and organizational goals This role encourages innovation and continuously improves efficiency of technical support, monitors advances of technology and competition, and supports global and acquisition-related technical issues in areas of expertise.
