Project Development Coordinator HVAC-Refrigeration Salary Pay Range:
$70,000-$100,000
Phone Allowance:
$25 per paycheck This position works on a rotating on-call schedule answering the business phone.
Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/Refrigeration technician with 4+ years of experience to join our team as an Project Development Coordinator . This position will play a crucial role in client relations by creating and providing estimates, offering PM services, and attaining new customers. Additionally, you will help technicians by serving as field support.
Duties:
Primarily Duties Act as field support for HVAC/R service technicians Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and refrigeration issues with technicians over the phone Be able to find and order necessary parts Timely and professionally respond to customer inquiries Create quotes for customers Prospecting new clients Order equipment Pull permits Pick up and drop off trailers Periodically Perform/supervise installation and repairs on HVAC units and refrigeration systems Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and refrigeration issues Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations Accountable for inventories, requisitions, materials, and supplies needed for each job Must utilize power tools (drills, generators, saws, lifts, vacuum equipment) Climb ladders and stairs. Work off ladders using hand tools and power tools to include working off lift platforms at heights above six feet. Use lifting, moving and rigging equipment to safely move, transfer or relocate heavy equipment. Operate refrigeration recovery equipment in compliance with EPA guidelines. Work in adverse working conditions such as confined spaces, dirty/greasy areas, low lighting, and extreme temperatures. Stoop, bend and reach. Lift up to 75 pounds. This position requires working a rotating on-call/standby schedule and may be called in for emergency response including nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional overnight travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
Maintain valid driver's license throughout employment Must be able to drive to job sites Maintain EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training Familiarity with industry tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Professional, courteous, and respectful to customers as well as fellow employees. Strong communication skills and commitment. Professional personal appearance and some internet skills. 100% dedication to safety, working hard, being on time and staying organized.
Preferred:
Licensed Mechanical Journeyman Fluent in
