Job Description

Project Manager A well-established, globally active industrial organization is seeking a Project Manager to support operations within a U.S.-based service and manufacturing environment. The organization is known for its long-standing commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and customer-focused delivery across complex industrial projects. This position reports into manufacturing leadership and plays a critical role in coordinating production workflows, ensuring schedule adherence, and supporting cross-functional execution. Position Overview The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing workflow execution within a shop environment, ensuring that materials, documentation, and production requirements are aligned to meet project timelines and quality expectations. This role acts as a key liaison between internal teams, including engineering, production, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and expedite workflow across multiple production functions to maintain project timelines
  • Ensure availability of required materials, documentation, and specifications to support execution
  • Support production planning activities, including adjustments to schedules and priorities
  • Monitor system data and operational progress to identify and address gaps
  • Communicate production status, risks, and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders
  • Generate and manage technical documentation, including material requests and specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings and provide guidance to production personnel
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation records Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or shop-based coordination role
  • Experience working in an industrial or technical environment preferred
  • Willingness to operate in a hands-on production setting
  • Ability to travel occasionally, as required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Solid mechanical or technical problem-solving ability
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
