Description:
Supports leadership with overseeing the
SOF GLSS
Logistics Operations. Focal point for Program Management Teams for Logistics support required for their Programs. Liaison with 3PL, PEO, and any other customer as needed. Assists in translating customer requirements into actions within the Logistics environment. Ensure proposed support is within scope and within sufficient space. Assume informal leadership role when Logistics support challenges arise. Initiate and manage affordability initiatives. Oversee logistics projects status, schedule and cost. Prepare status reports. Assesses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and objectives. Assists in the development of procedures and partner with 3PL to collaborate on problem solving. Conduct warehouse walk-throughs with 3PL. Collaborate with other departments to incorporate enterprise processes. Basic Qualifications:
Project or program management experience Minimum of 5 years of DoD Logistics management experience Strong time management skills Familiar with DoD Logistics Policy & Procedures Strong planning, communication and presentation skills Must be proactive and self-motivated Strong coordination skills Ability to work with minimal direction Detail-oriented Experience reviewing/updating policies and procedures Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

SAP Experience RFID experience Traffic Import/Export experience
GOLD/ELMS
experience Ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions and implement strategies to overcome obstacles.
