Job Description

roject Manager - Steel Fabrication Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee custom steel fabrication projects from award through completion. Projects may include pressure vessels, piping systems, OEM fabrication, structural components, and other heavy industrial steel fabrication work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, customer relationships, fabrication activities, and project execution to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities Manage fabrication projects from kickoff through final delivery Coordinate with engineering, production, quality control, and customers throughout the project lifecycle Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements Monitor project schedules, budgets, and production milestones Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status and deliverables Work closely with fabrication and shop personnel to ensure production goals are met Coordinate material procurement, subcontractors, and outside vendors as needed Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction Experience with vessel fabrication, pipe fabrication, OEM manufacturing, or related custom steel fabrication projects Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, and welding documentation Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software Preferred Qualifications Experience in utility structure, transmission pole, or utility pole manufacturing Familiarity with ASME, AWS, AISC, or other industry standards Background working with heavy industrial, energy, utility, or process equipment projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Long-term career growth with a stable and growing organization Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
