Job Description:
Coastal Process is looking to add a Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of projects, meet deadlines, and monitor and summarize progress. The successful candidate will work directly with customers/vendors to ensure deliveries fall within the scope and on-time.Who we are:
Coastal Process provides engineered solutions for water, wastewater, and process-air applications to both municipal and industrial customers in Louisiana and Mississippi. We also provide support through aftermarket services; including repairs, upgrades, rentals, preventative maintenance contracts, exchanges, etc. to our valued customers.Responsibilities:
- Meet with team members to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation:
- Prepare and send submittal documents from engineering —such as equipment drawings, product data, and manuals.
- Sending order acknowledgments and purchase orders
- Keep track of project billing and invoicing
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with great attention to detail
- Understand contract requirements and standard drawings
- Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope and on time
- Communicate directly with team members/customers/vendors on project status
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in project coordination, construction, manufacturing, or related industry
- Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- QuickBooks experience
- preferred, but not required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and self-motivating
- Pass drug screens
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:30pm)
