USF assists commercial and industrial clients by performing forensic evaluations, reporting, and expert witness testimony. Our capabilities include accident reconstruction; structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; fire origin and cause; and environmental services. We cater our services to each client's unique consulting engineering needs. Our experienced forensic engineers and investigators provide assistance to numerous industries. As part of the ATS family of companies, we can offer additional testing, inspection, and calibration capabilities when clients need a broader scope of services.
Job Overview:
US Forensic is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Project Manager to oversee forensic investigations from initiation through completion. This role serves as the central point of coordination between insurance companies, attorneys, building owners, and expert investigators. The Project Manager ensures timely communication, efficient project execution, and the delivery of high-quality expert reports that address complex technical questions.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from assignment through final report delivery Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including insurance carriers, attorneys, and property owners Coordinate with expert investigators to ensure timely site inspections, analysis, and report completion Develop budget based on scope, expert needed, and geographic location of the inspection Provide proactive, timely status updates to all parties involved in the claim process Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget performance Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records in the job management system Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to client expectations Escalate issues as needed and collaborate with internal teams to drive resolution Support the delivery of professional, defensible expert reports that address technical questions clearly and effectively Other duties as assigned Proven project management experience, preferably in engineering, construction, insurance, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Client-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional customer service Strong work ethic and a proactive, problem-solving approach Positive, growth-oriented attitude What Sets You Apart Experience working with insurance claims, litigation support, or forensic investigations Familiarity with technical reports or engineering documentation Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Our Commitment We deliver accurate, high-quality expert reports with speed and precision—helping our clients make informed decisions.
