Job Description

As a Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist II, you'll be part detective, part strategist, and part change champion—using data, collaboration, and continuous improvement tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges. In this role, you'll lead projects that improve quality, safety, efficiency, and the overall patient experience. You'll partner with clinical and operational leaders, bring teams together to solve problems, and turn ideas into measurable results. What You'll Be Doing Lead improvement projects from idea to implementation, helping teams achieve meaningful and sustainable results Partner with leaders and frontline team members to identify opportunities for improvement across clinical and operational areas Analyze data, identify trends, and uncover root causes behind process challenges Facilitate workflow mapping sessions, brainstorming meetings, Kaizen events, and other improvement activities Apply Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve reliability Develop practical solutions that make work easier, safer, and more efficient Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success Support change management efforts and help teams adopt new processes with confidence Present project updates, recommendations, and outcomes to leaders and stakeholders Serve as a trusted internal consultant and resource for departments looking to improve performance What You'll Bring 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations, quality improvement, performance improvement, project management, or a related field Experience leading improvement initiatives and driving measurable results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into action Confidence facilitating meetings and working with interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint Passion for continuous improvement and creating positive change Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field required Master's degree preferred Certifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required within 6-12 months of hire Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar certification preferred Why You'll Love This Role Every improvement project has the potential to make a real difference—for patients, providers, and fellow team members.
