Lead a flagship $34M public-sector renovation project Join a respected, award‑winning New England GC About Our Client Our client is a well‑established general contracting and construction management firm with nearly three decades of experience delivering complex projects throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. Their portfolio spans commercial, multi‑family, educational, and historic renovation work, with particular strength in public-sector and institutional construction. The firm is known for its hands‑on leadership, strong field support, and collaborative culture. Job Description Lead day‑to‑day management of a $34M occupied school / public building renovation Partner closely with the assigned Project Executive and the VP of Development & Preconstruction throughout project delivery Oversee project budgeting, cost controls, forecasting, and change management Manage schedules, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and on‑site execution Drive communication with public owners, consultants, inspectors, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and public-sector reporting requirements Support preconstruction and early procurement activities to maintain schedule certainty MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on public-sector projects (strongly preferred) Background in large‑scale renovations, school projects, or complex occupied remodels Track record managing multimillion‑dollar projects with tight schedules and high visibility Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Comfort working in a collaborative, hands‑on environment Tech‑savvy approach to project controls, with experience using: Procore (project management) P6 (scheduling)
BIM / VDC
