This is a family run business that has been around for a while and they have a great reputation within their space in construction. Roughly 80% in office and 20% offsite is required for this Mon-Fri position. Reporting into the Vice President of Operations, this role is responsible for managing multiple complex site and civil projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams. Anticipate challenges and proactively develop effective, win-win solutions. Develop and manage preliminary and ongoing project schedules. Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with specifications. Lead and participate in project meetings. Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress, quality, safety, and performance. Pricing and processing change orders Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents Tracking submittals and approvals Preparing monthly requisitions Collaborating with accounting to approve invoices Updating and reviewing project schedules monthly Coordinate closely with the safety department to uphold all safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience managing multiple large-scale commercial projects (up to $20M) as a subcontractor. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on teamwork and customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project. Experience with Carlson Earthwork Takeoff, Procore, and B2W Estimating Software is a plus.
