Full Job Description DUTIES:
Project manage key CAFH Bureau priorities, utilizing project management tools and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project progress. Provide guidance and additional support for staff and teams that are working on CAFH priorities. Collaborate effectively with staff across BPHC, other city departments, and external organizations to execute key deliverables. Organize regular external and internal meetings including advisory boards and steering committee meetings. Manage communication with external stakeholders around key projects in partnership with CAFH leadership. Draft and produce memos, presentations, reports, flyers, policies, and other forms of communication. Establish and maintain effective working relationships that value diverse experiences and perspectives. Support strategic plan monitoring and implementation. Work in a confidential capacity with members of the Executive Office. Manage and implementtime-limited projects. Support meetings through planning, notetaking, making presentations, and facilitation. Work to help BPHC become an antiracist organization by meeting or exceeding the standards set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy. Perform other duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in public health/public policy/health sciences or related degree, plus 3-5 years of experience (or bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience). Commitment to the promotion of health equity, inclusion, and diversity within BPHC and the community. Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity. Experience with project management principles and tools, including project management platforms. Experience managing projects with flexible timelines and iterative deliverables. Self-directed with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including time-sensitive requests. Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) and attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skill with Windows Office Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn new software applications and technology.Preferred or Plus:
Bilingual skills desirable (English-Spanish). Familiarity with Boston neighborhoods, Boston public schools, and health and social service providers and systems preferred. Experience and/or certification in Quality Improvement strategies. 1 year of demonstrated formal or informal social justice advocacy experience and/or community organizing/mobilization experience.
