Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a portfolio of Human Resources, Payroll, and Workforce Management (WFM) initiatives. The successful candidate will provide structured project leadership, governance oversight, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project delivery across multiple workstreams. This role requires a strong foundation in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and enterprise HR technology environments. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams across HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, and related business functions. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Manage project governance activities, including status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications. Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs and proactively identify, assess, and escalate project risks. Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure project objectives are achieved within agreed timelines. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project resources. Ensure project documentation is maintained in accordance with PMO standards and governance requirements. Support change management, testing, deployment, and project transition activities as required. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of project management experience leading enterprise business or technology initiatives. Strong knowledge of project governance, PMO frameworks, project controls, and reporting methodologies. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent workstreams. Experience supporting or delivering projects involving HR technology, payroll systems, workforce management platforms, or related business applications. Proven ability to manage project schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills. Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with HRIS, Payroll, or Workforce Management platforms such as Workday, UKG, Dayforce, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar solutions. Background supporting HR transformation, payroll modernization, workforce management, or enterprise technology initiatives. PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
