Trueline's client, a fast-growing real estate development and construction firm focused on complex urban redevelopment projects throughout Greater Boston, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Greater Boston area. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced construction professional who can oversee projects from pre-construction through completion while serving as a trusted partner to ownership. Senior Project Manager:
Lead construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion Manage multiple ground-up, redevelopment, demolition, and site civil projects simultaneously Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure field execution aligns with design intent Coordinate architects, engineers, attorneys, consultants, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders Oversee permitting activities and ensure compliance with local regulations Conduct regular site visits throughout Greater Boston to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule adherence Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate scopes of work Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls Serve as the owner's representative during construction activities Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget Implement and optimize project management software and operational processes Mentor field personnel and help build scalable construction operations Must-Haves as the
Senior Project Manager:
Unrestricted Massachusetts CSL license 10+ years of construction project management experience Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or urban infill construction projects Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site plans Experience overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout Deep knowledge of Greater Boston construction practices, permitting, and development environments Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders Strong budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and cost control skills Ability to split time between field operations and office-based project management Strong communication and leadership skills Nice-to-Haves as the
Senior Project Manager:
Drain Layer license Estimating experience Experience operating as both Project Manager and Owner's Representative Buildertrend or Procore implementation and administration experience Background running your own construction company or business unit Experience with complex demolition, site civil work, steel structures, and urban construction challenges Experience managing 5-over-2, 4-over-2, hospitality, condominium, or mixed-use developments Knowledge of zoning, entitlement, and development processes
