Job Description

All American Fence is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to oversee fencing projects from contract award through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating support, material procurement, crew scheduling, project coordination, problem-solving, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Manage multiple residential and commercial fence projects simultaneously. Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials. Maintain communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field crews. Monitor project progress and address issues proactively. Estimating & Job Preparation Review project plans, specifications, and engineered drawings. Assist with project estimating and cost analysis. Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations. Identify project risks and develop solutions before construction begins. Material Ordering & Inventory Management Order materials, hardware, and equipment required for projects. Coordinate deliveries to ensure materials arrive on schedule. Work with suppliers to obtain pricing and maintain inventory levels. Track material usage and minimize waste. Crew Management & Delegation Schedule and assign field crews based on project requirements. Provide daily and weekly work plans to foremen and installers. Monitor productivity and ensure crews have the resources needed for success. Assist in resolving field challenges and operational issues. Problem Solving & Quality Control Troubleshoot construction, scheduling, and customer service issues. Resolve unforeseen site conditions and coordinate solutions. Conduct jobsite visits to verify quality and safety standards. Ensure projects meet company and customer expectations. Administrative & Computer Responsibilities Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports. Utilize project management, estimating, and office software programs. Track project costs, change orders, and job progress. Prepare project updates for management and customers. Qualifications Construction project management experience preferred. Strong understanding of fencing, site work, or related construction trades. Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, site plans, and specifications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license. Preferred Skills Experience in fence construction or general construction Knowledge of commercial and residential construction practices. Familiarity with blueprint reading and material takeoffs. $73,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
