Position Summary Greener Group is seeking an experienced Site & Civil Project Manager to join our Excavating Division. This position is ideal for a motivated construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing both prevailing wage and private site development projects from pre-construction through closeout. The Site & Civil Project Manager will oversee all aspects of excavation and civil construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of site work, utility construction, and excavation operations. Responsibilities Manage all phases of site and civil construction projects from estimating and contract award through project completion and closeout Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, schedules, and cost projections Coordinate excavation, utility, grading, drainage, and site development operations Oversee both prevailing wage and private construction projects while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors Monitor project progress, productivity, safety, and quality standards Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure successful execution Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and reports Work closely with field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, clients, engineers, and inspectors Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams throughout all project phases Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Support company safety initiatives and enforce OSHA and company safety standards Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field preferred Extensive hands-on experience in excavation and civil construction project management may be considered in place of a degree Minimum 5+ years of experience managing site work and excavation projects Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, utility installation, grading, drainage, and excavation operations Experience managing large-scale, multi-phase construction projects Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and certified payroll procedures preferred Strong estimating, budgeting, and scheduling skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Healthcare benefits including medical and dental insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) retirement plan Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) Professional growth and advancement opportunities Ongoing safety and professional training Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Job Type Full-time Location Lowell, Massachusetts Benefits:
