Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Service Sales Project Manager to our Woburn, MA team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day activities that support our inspection, testing, maintenance, installation, and modification of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems, while driving service sales growth across our existing customer base. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, sharp project management instincts, excellent customer-facing communication, and the ability to balance operational delivery with sales execution. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in obtaining information needed for each job, such as Purchase Order numbers, tax-exempt forms, insurance certificates, deficiency information, and payroll information. Assist in the scheduling of service work based on awarded projects and incoming emergency service calls. Follow up with customers on deficiencies and other quoted work to drive conversion. Leverage the existing sprinkler customer base to generate cross-selling opportunities across fire alarm and fire suppression services. Book and create jobs for awarded projects and service calls within the system; prepare costs for invoicing upon job completion, along with job financial review. Assist with customer invoicing and follow up on collections for the service department. Prepare job start-up and completion documents. Attend project meetings as required. Coordinate with subcontractors and other project trades. Supervise design and field personnel working on assigned jobs. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred. Prior fire protection industry experience required. Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 requirements. Good oral, written, telephone, and customer service skills. Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to assist both internal and external customers professionally and effectively. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and regulations. Moderate to advanced computer skills, with AutoCAD knowledge. Valid driver's license required. Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Combined office and field environment. Mostly sedentary role with the need to move about the office, shop, and job sites. May require light lifting. Consistent use of phone and computer throughout the workday. Regular travel to job sites required. The salary for this role is $85,000 to $110,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications.
