Heavy Demolition Project Manager - Commercial/Industrial/Institutional

Berg Demo Group LLC The mid-Atlantic leader in large scale commercial/institutional demolition is hiring Project Managers to work primarily in Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia.

Duties include management of:

Preconstruction through project close out. Construction project schedules. Financial oversight, budget management and client coordination. Contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule. Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs. Prepare subcontract agreements for participating subcontractors. Process and get approval for all change orders and extra work required on the project. Project meetings. Supervise and manage project team members. Train and develop direct reports. Job status reports. Prepare and submit all monthly requisitions and follow up on payment status. Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project. Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence. Prepare, submit, and follow up on all project close out documents. Develop and maintain positive working relationships. Participate in proposals and presentations as requested. Minimum qualifications 2 years plus experience managing large commercial/institutional projects successfully from start to finish is required. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor of Science in civil/structural engineering or construction management or architecture.
