Assistant Project Manager - Federal Sector Projects
Your new companyYou'll be joining a highly respected, multidisciplined construction services provider specializing in federal, secure, and mission-critical environments. With a strong national and international presence, this organization is known for delivering exceptional results on SCIF and secure facility projects. Your new roleAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager on complex, security-sensitive construction projects from conception through completion. You will assist with self-performing operations, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, uphold government security protocols, and ensure that project execution meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
This role is an in-office role. You will be based in the Frederick, MD office 5 days a week with occasional site visits.
What you'll need to succeed

What you'll need to succeed
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Top Secret clearance is a strong plus (must be clearable).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction project management, preferably involving SCIF or secure/hardened facility work.
- Proven capability in managing self-performing trades and leading field teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes for secure environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform under pressure.
- Solid understanding of ICD-705, TEMPEST, and relevant codes/regulations.
- $75,000 - 95,000 base Salary
- Approximately 4 weeks PTO + paid holidays
