This position offers long-term career opportunities and requires leadership of project teams, coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders, and oversight of successful project delivery from pre-construction through closeout. Primary responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, daily operations oversight, financial performance, and client relations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Lead all phases of federal design-build and bid-build construction projects. Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, execution, and closeout activities. Oversee subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams. Maintain project profitability, cost controls, and financial performance. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure successful project execution. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness. Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and contract compliance. Resolve project challenges proactively while maintaining schedule and budget objectives. Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, and administrative controls. Qualifications & Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred. U.S. citizenship required. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing design-build construction projects. Additional construction management experience may substitute for formal education, certifications, or licensure. Experience with firm-fixed-price federal construction contracts preferred. Strong understanding of federal agency contract vehicles, including NAVFAC, USACE, WHS, FBI, and related programs. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong financial management and cost-control experience within fixed-price construction environments. Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, scheduling software, Procore, Bluebeam, and related construction management platforms. Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
