Job Description

Position Overview The Senior Project Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex commercial fencing and perimeter security projects—from contract award through closeout. This role drives operational excellence, ensures financial performance, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. In addition to project execution, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in client relationship management, business development, and continuous improvement initiatives that support company growth and long-term success. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance to project teams and field personnel Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Pre-Construction & Estimating Analyze RFPs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (engineers, contractors, vendors) to define scope and resource needs Prepare and review cost estimates, technical proposals, and pre-construction documentation Identify value engineering opportunities to enhance project efficiency and profitability Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management Manage expectations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, contributing to repeat business Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless project execution Financial & Commercial Oversight Drive project profitability through effective cost control and margin management Track billing, including progress billing and stored materials Support collections and ensure timely cash flow management Contribute to business development efforts, including negotiating and securing new work Operational Excellence Maintain project documentation systems (RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs) Prepare and track submittals and shop drawings Ensure efficient procurement and coordination with production teams Champion continuous improvement in project management processes and tools Team Leadership Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and high performance Promote safety, quality, and professionalism across all project teams Qualifications Proven experience managing commercial construction or security/fencing projects at a senior level Strong understanding of project management principles, contracts, and construction processes Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to pass background check
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$110-135,000
Performance Bonus:
Up to 10% annually based on key metrics (schedule, financial performance, etc.)
Vehicle Allowance:
$100/week
