Job Description

Heavy Highway Project Manager - Baltimore, MD $85,000-$135,000 A well‑established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee asphalt paving, site development, and infrastructure projects in the Baltimore area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both project management and field coordination. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through completion Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams Track costs, change orders, and project performance Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Interface with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, APM, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction Strong background in asphalt paving, sitework, and/or underground utilities Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Experience with construction management and project tracking tools Benefits Stable pipeline of local projects Health insurance and benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for advancement and long-term growth
