Job Description

Infrastructure Project Manager Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team. As an Infrastructure PM, you will be part of the Technology Infrastructure department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Lead and manage enterprise-scale storage migration initiatives, transitioning on-premises storage environments to cloud-based platforms in support of broader cloud migration strategies
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to define migration strategies for enterprise storage platforms, including data replication, archival considerations, backup alignment, performance requirements, and operational readiness
  • Manage and oversee project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management, and other project documentation preparation and turnover to production for technology projects of high complexity
  • Coordinate migration activities across infrastructure, storage engineering, application teams, cloud teams, information security, architecture, operations, disaster recovery, and business stakeholders
  • Drive planning and execution of data center exit and migration activities, including discovery, dependency mapping, migration wave planning, cutover sequencing, validation, and decommissioning readiness.
What's Needed
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline
  • PMP or PMI certification
  • 10+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably in a regulated industry, with significant experience leading large-scale infrastructure or platform transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience managing enterprise technology migration programs, including data center migration, infrastructure modernization, storage migration, or cloud transformation efforts
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments, including storage, compute, network, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and application hosting dependencies.
