Job Description

Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (ending approximately December 2026) or continuing into Winter/Spring 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students:
If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. Tesla is seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to join our North America Sales and Delivery Organization, supporting the Business Generation team. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of strategic outbound programs and campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and increase market penetration. As a Business Generation Project Manager – Media & Partnerships Coordinator, you will get the rare opportunity grow a program to measurably impact top of funnel growth and conversions. This key role will drive cross-functional alignment, manage complex initiatives, and build scalable systems and resources that empower Tesla's field teams to grow their relationships with media. Evaluating performance and KPI's is critical to the success of the program. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure program success from start to finish. Your contributions will have a measurable impact on top of funnel growth and conversion.
Location:
Can work out of any Sales, Service or delivery location in the US Build and manage centralized resources for field enablement—including toolkits, playbooks, and request portals—that support a repeatable and efficient go-to-market strategy Identify and evaluate new growth and media opportunities for strategic participation Outreach and coordination with external media on local and national engagements Analyze and interpret data trends to develop data-driven strategies for program optimization Manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholder communication Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows, resource utilization, and program delivery through automation, standardization, and best practices Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with high attention to detail and strategic foresight Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong bias for speed and action, along with comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities Highly organized with exceptional executional discipline and problem-solving ability Passion for Tesla's mission and deep understanding of the customer journey and full sales cycle Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project) Benefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
