Job Description

The Opportunity As a Project Analyst you will support the Strategic Medicaid & CHIP Managed Care Monitoring and Oversight (MMCC) project team through task coordination and project management support functions. To be successful in this role you must be interested in building foundational project management experience while supporting a fast-paced, client-facing federal health program. You will play a central role in coordinating tasks, supporting deliverables, and ensuring consistent communication and reporting across the project team. Core Responsibilities Task Coordination & Operational Support Coordinate day-to-day project activities across workstreams to ensure timely execution of tasks and deliverables Provide task support, including tracking assignments, deadlines, and dependencies Maintain task trackers, schedules, and action item logs Support cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment across technical, operational, and administrative teams Help manage workflows involving consultants, subcontractors, IT, and other internal support teams as needed Project Management Support Support development and submission of monthly reports and other client deliverables Draft and finalize client meeting notes, including capturing decisions, risks, and action items Assist in preparing briefing materials, presentations, and meeting agendas Support project documentation and knowledge management, ensuring materials are organized and up to date Help identify opportunities for modernizing and improving cross task reporting and coordination and test proposed solutions Budget & Financial Support Provide support for project budget tracking, including monitoring expenditures and assisting with financial reporting Help prepare inputs for financial reviews and budget forecasts Track invoices, commitments, and other financial documentation as needed Client & Stakeholder Coordination Support communication with client stakeholders by preparing materials and tracking follow-ups Contribute to maintaining strong, responsive client relationships Ensure timely submission of client-facing deliverables and reports What We Value Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, consulting, or program support strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support project management Experience supporting federal or healthcare projects (CMS/Medicaid experience a plus) Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar) Experience supporting budgeting, reporting, or financial tracking processes Proactive communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions Interest in growing into a project management career path What We Offer We foster an environment where you can Thrive Your Way. This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $57,000 to $65,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
