Role:
In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from initiation through to handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining strong financial discipline and accountability.. You will partner closely with Engineering, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to every phase of the project lifecycle. This is a high-impact role where you will not only execute projects but actively drive outcomes, anticipating risks, solving challenges proactively, and ensuring operational excellence from day one. Your ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver measurable business results will be critical to your success. As a key member of our North America team and part of Icomera's Global Business Unit, you will play a central role in delivering value to our customers while contributing directly to the region's growth and performance . Key responsibilities:
Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of complex customer projects across the NORAM region, from initiation through successful handover to Service Delivery Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project management plans, ensuring alignment to scope, contractual obligations, and business KPIs Drive project governance and execution discipline, including schedule, budget, risk management, and change control processes Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, commercial, and financial risks, ensuring projects remain on track and profitable Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners, ensuring clear accountability and alignment Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as the central point of accountability for project success Maintain full ownership of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing, and cash flow management, with accountability at the EBIT level Ensure all project activities, decisions, and deliverables are accurately documented, contractually aligned, and audit-ready Implement and uphold robust project governance frameworks, including reporting, documentation control, and performance tracking systems Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, incorporating lessons learned, optimizing processes, and enhancing delivery outcomes Provide clear, data-driven reporting to leadership and clients, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely decision-making Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on accountability, quality, and results Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience managing complex, customer-facing projects, ideally within IT, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments Proven experience delivering projects across multiple jurisdictions (U.S. and Canada preferred) PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including risk, change, and financial management Experience managing fixed-price or commercially sensitive projects, with accountability for budget and profitability Proficiency with project tools (e.g., MS Project, SAP or similar systems) Exposure to connectivity, networking, or IT infrastructure environments (e.g., RF, IP networks, Linux-based systems) is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to balance commercial objectives with operational delivery, including cost control and financial accountability Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, documentation, and compliance Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time across the NORAM region.
