Octagon Cleaning & Restoration Octagon Cleaning & Restoration is an established and growing restoration company serving New Hampshire and Maine. We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to manage mold remediation, water mitigation, fire restoration, and emergency response projects from initial inspection through final close-out. This role is ideal for a restoration professional who understands the full lifecycle of restoration projects — from emergency response to scheduled remediation — and can confidently manage scopes, budgets, crews, and client expectations in the field. What You'll Be Responsible For Initial Response & Project Assessment Respond to emergency and scheduled mold, water, and fire losses throughout Southern Maine Perform site inspections, assess damage, and determine appropriate remediation and mitigation strategies Coordinate mobilization of crews, equipment, and materials as needed Estimating & Scoping Develop accurate scopes of work and estimates using Xactimate Identify supplemental, mold-related, emergency, and change order opportunities with proper documentation Communicate scope, pricing, and approvals with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams Project Management Manage projects from initial response through completion and reconstruction hand-off Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and schedules Track budgets, timelines, and job profitability Ensure job documentation, photos, reports, and moisture logs are completed accurately and on time Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance carriers Provide consistent updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle Communicate clearly during both emergency situations and planned remediation work Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure work is completed in accordance with IICRC guidelines, safety requirements, and company standards Confirm job-site safety, containment integrity, and proper close-out documentation What We're Looking For 2+ years experience managing mold, water, and/or fire restoration projects Strong working knowledge of Xactimate Understanding of mold remediation protocols, water mitigation drying methods, and fire restoration workflows Experience handling both emergency response and scheduled restoration projects Ability to manage multiple projects across NH and Southern ME Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills Preferred (Not Required) IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) Experience working directly with insurance carriers and adjusters Background coordinating mitigation and reconstruction scopes Familiarity with Maine restoration and insurance markets What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (as applicable) Phone, tablet, estimating software, and field support Clear processes for emergency response and scheduled project execution Long-term opportunity with an established and structured restoration company Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
