Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary Windham Millwork is a third-generation, family-owned architectural woodworking company serving commercial construction projects across the country. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to learn project management from the ground up, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a Project Manager role over time. Responsibilities Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination Track and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and approvals Maintain accurate and organized project documentation Enter and update project information in our ERP system Coordinate with internal teams, general contractors, and architects Follow up on outstanding items to keep projects moving Assist in tracking schedules and identifying potential delays Ensure all project records are complete and up to date Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and accountable Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field Internship or prior exposure to construction or project coordination Familiarity with ERP systems or construction documentation What We Offer Hands-on training and mentorship Opportunity to work on commercial construction projects Clear career path to Project Manager Stable, team-oriented work environment Competitive hourly pay based on experience About Windham Millwork Windham Millwork has been in business for over 65 years, delivering high-quality custom architectural millwork for commercial projects nationwide.
