Job Description

job summary: Join our dynamic renewable energy team in the utility sector as a Principal EPC Project Manager. Based at our project locations with required routine travel, you will lead cross-functional teams in the planning, design, execution, and commissioning of complex, multi-year utility-scale renewable energy facilities valued over $100M. In this role, you will hold ultimate accountability for project scope, budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful asset delivery. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree paired with over 7 years of applied engineering or equivalent project management experience. Proven success leading complex projects impacting municipalities, agencies, or large energy customers is required, alongside proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience with SAP are highly preferred.

Prepare critical deliverables including Project Charters, Management Plans, Scoping Documents, and Risk Registers.

Develop detailed project schedules and validate financial forecasts to meet strict scope, cost, and quality objectives.

Act as the primary liaison to coordinate communications and negotiations between the company, senior leadership, and third parties.

Develop execution plans for diverse commercial structures, including Engineering-Procure-Construct (EPC) and Build-Own-Operate (BOO).
