Project Manager Position Summary The Project Coordinator - Electric Operations supports the successful execution of underground electric construction projects by assisting Project Managers with planning, coordination, documentation, scheduling, and financial tracking. This role serves as a key liaison between field operations, project management, customers, subcontractors, and internal support teams to ensure electric projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position is focused on underground electric distribution, conduit, URD, duct bank, vault, and related electric infrastructure work. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administration Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of underground electric construction projects Track project schedules, milestones, manpower, and material needs Maintain organized project files including contracts, permits, drawings, change orders, and correspondence Coordinate internal meetings, field updates, and project documentation flow between office and field teams Support preparation of project start-up packages and closeout documentation Financial & Cost Tracking Assist with job cost tracking, budget updates, and production reporting Support monthly billing, cost-to-complete reviews, and change order documentation Track purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and material receipts Help reconcile quantities for conduit, wire, vaults, concrete, and restoration items Field & Customer Interface Serve as a liaison between Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews Coordinate inspections, utility coordination, and customer communications as directed Assist with responses to customer requests, schedule updates, and documentation needs Represent Corby Energy Services professionally in limited client interactions Safety, Compliance & Quality Support compliance with MIOSHA, customer safety requirements, and company safety programs Assist with tracking training, certifications, and jobsite documentation Ensure required project documentation is completed and submitted accurately and on timeRequirements:
Required Qualifications Minimum 1-5 years of experience in construction project coordination, project controls, or related roles Strong understanding of construction documentation, scheduling, and job cost concepts Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); project tracking systems a plus Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites as required Preferred Experience Prior experience in underground electric, utility, civil, or infrastructure construction preferred Experience with utility-owner electric work Familiarity with URD, conduit systems, duct bank, vault installations, and restoration coordination Experience supporting field operations Work Environment & Physical Demands Combination of office and field environment Ability to travel locally to project sites as needed Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk job sites Occasional lifting of materials or files up to 20 poundsSimilar remote jobs
